Houle’s Custom Stairs & Railings

When designing a custom hardwood stair and railing system keep in mind the style of the house. The stair needs to be of code in its entire but also needs to fit the area it sits in, not being to over or under powering . Over the years we have designed and built many custom stair and railings. Every job we like to create something unique in the railing so that no two houses would ever look the same. Our carver is a master at designing custom rail components for railings as you can see in the picture below there is not even one newel post in the entire railing system but is engineered to be very strong and sturdy that is only seen in post to post rail systems. Its all in the design when building stairs always keep in mind the type of railing that is going to sit on the stair. We can custom carve any rail design or part to fit your stair making sure that quality is number one we also use hanger bolts for attaching  parts to the straight railing  to achieve a super strong and snug fit. and most important to last for years with every day wear and tear
