Marshland Wildlife Woodcarvings was established in 1994. Our goal and mission was to create a beautiful carved Decoy at a great price. We are still focused today on this same principal.

David j Houle started carving at the age of 19 and still remembers his first Decoy carved not the prettiest thing but it was a start ,carving now for over 24 years David has accomplished so much. In the early 90’s he was commissioned to carve 400 chairs for the House Of Commons in Ottawa Canada ,has carved decorative Corbels for Osgood Hall in Toronto Canada , carved textured panels for the cancer centre in Kitchener -Waterloo  the city where he grew up. David has sold many Duck Decoy’s to collectors all over North America and the World. His decoy’s have fine lines with nice detail to the tail area’s capturing the natural warmth and beauty of the wood’s grain pattern . David’s wife Elizabeth artistically paint’s all the skillfully carved Duck decoy’s a husband and wife team working together fulfilling there dreams and capturing a bit of nature in every piece carved .
